What You’ll Do:

Navitas is seeking a Senior System Administrator (ServiceNow Platform) to provide expert-level support and administration of the ServiceNow environment. The candidate will be responsible for the health, performance, and optimization of ServiceNow environments (Dev, Test, and Prod), while continuously driving platform enhancements aligned with organizational goals. This remote position requires a U.S. Citizen with an active Top Secret clearance and availability to work in Eastern time zone..


Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Administer and maintain ServiceNow platform environments, ensuring peak performance and system integrity.

  • Perform regular platform upgrades, patching, and health assessments; generate and present reports to stakeholders.

  • Configure and support ServiceNow applications, including Service Catalog, Employee Center, Knowledge Base, Now Mobile, SPM, and Change Management.

  • Manage user roles, access, and permissions.

  • Handle platform cases, changes, requests, and escalations.

  • Develop and maintain update sets, scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies), and Service Catalog items.

  • Create and manage workflows, dashboards, reports, SLAs, and integrations with third-party systems.

  • Support cloning processes, skipped record remediation, rollback planning, and upgrade validation testing.

  • Develop and maintain Service Portal components and mobile interfaces.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize business processes and user experiences.

  • Lead technical planning, estimation, and documentation efforts on ServiceNow projects.

  • Provide post-deployment support and continuous improvement.

  • Conduct knowledge transfers and create SOPs, KB articles, and other technical documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 7+ years of relevant experience; OR Master’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • 5+ years in ServiceNow platform administration.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow modules: ITSM, SPM, HAM, SAM.

  • Experience with integrations (e.g., LDAP, API Web Services), SSO, and platform security controls.

  • Knowledge of scripting and web technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Ajax.

  • Experience conducting platform upgrades and managing release cycles.

  • Demonstrated ability in troubleshooting, performance optimization, and system health checks.

  • Certifications:

    • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (Current)
