Job Details<br><br><strong>Description<br><br></strong>As an<strong> Account Development Manager</strong>, you will grow new sales through assigned Pittsburgh Paints Company stores growing both existing business year-over-year, and developing new accounts within the commercial, industrial, and new home construction segments.<br><br>You will report to the Regional Manager and work in the field based in the <strong>Charlotte, NC</strong> market.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Ensure outstanding customer service is provided to existing customer accounts by keeping up to date with current promotions, new products, and with current customer service practices to find opportunities for growth.</li><li>Develop account planning strategies, sales opportunities, accounts with growth potential, and understand existing business and the segments they serve.</li><li>Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to run accounts, maintain call logs and contact info, run reports, etc.</li><li>Collaborate with store managers and employees to ensure customers' needs are met or exceeded.</li><li>Facilitate and accurate customer quotes to achieve margin targets in alignment with pricing strategies. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>High school diploma required with 3+ years of previous sales experience with stellar customer service acuity, Higher-level education degree in a business-related field.</li><li>3+ years of paint and coatings experience.</li><li>CRM software experience preferred.</li><li>Daily travel within your assigned territory; must possess valid driver's license.<br><br></li></ul><em>PPC Participates in a Fixed and Variable Rate (FAVR) program.
