<strong style="font-weight:700;">Job Title: Accounts Payable Coordinator</strong><br /><strong>Job Description</strong><p>The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for performing end-to-end accounts payable activities, including receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices and payments. This role controls expenses by ensuring accurate three-way matching, timely invoice processing, and effective vendor communication, while supporting the broader Finance function through month-end close activities, audits, and corporate initiatives.<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><ul><li>Manage all incoming invoices and perform full three-way matching between purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.</li><li>Process a high volume of invoices, typically 100 or more per day, in a timely and efficient manner.</li><li>Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies by collaborating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.</li><li>Reconcile vendor statements regularly and ensure vendor accounts remain accurate and up to date.</li><li>Monitor and manage the Accounts Payable email inbox, responding to supplier inquiries promptly and professionally.</li><li>Support the Finance team with month-end close activities, including preparing and providing accounts payable information as needed.</li><li>Participate in Finance-related audits by providing requested documentation, explanations, and support to auditors.</li><li>Process corporate card expense reports within required timelines, verifying appropriate approvals and coding.</li><li>Contribute to company projects and corporate initiatives related to process improvement and Finance operations.</li><li>Actively participate in continuous improvement activities and problem-solving efforts to enhance accounts payable processes.</li><li>Assist in the training, mentoring, and assessment of other team members to support team development and knowledge sharing.</li><li>Exercise sound judgement and autonomy in daily work while following established guidelines and direction.</li><li>Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures, and promptly report any accidents, incidents, or near misses.</li><li>Act in a safe and responsible manner at all times in the workplace.</li><li>Perform additional accounts payable and Finance-related duties as assigned.</li></ul><strong>Essential Skills</strong><ul><li>At least 3 years of hands-on accounts payable experience.</li><li>Proven ability to process 100 or more invoices per day accurately and efficiently.</li><li>Strong experience with three-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents.</li><li>Demonstrated capability in invoice processing and discrepancy resolution.</li><li>Experience in vendor reconciliation and maintaining accurate vendor accounts.</li><li>Ability to manage an Accounts Payable inbox and respond to supplier inquiries in a timely, professional manner.</li><li>Experience supporting month-end close activities within a Finance team.</li><li>Ability to support Finance-related audits by organizing and providing required documentation.</li><li>Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills in a high-volume environment.</li><li>Demonstrated ownership of personal learning and development with a continuous improvement mindset.</li><li>Ability to participate effectively in problem-solving and process improvement initiatives.</li><li>Capability to exercise autonomy and sound judgement within established guidelines.</li><li>Commitment to following Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and acting safely at all times.</li></ul><strong>Additional Skills & Qualifications</strong><ul><li>Experience with SAP for accounts payable or general Finance processes.</li><li>Experience with Concur or similar expense management systems.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for tracking, reconciling, and analyzing payables data.</li><li>Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.</li><li>Experience assisting in training, mentoring, and supporting other team members.</li><li>Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and external suppliers.</li><li>Proactive approach to continuous improvement for both personal development and business processes.</li></ul><strong>Work Environment</strong><p>This is an in-office role, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
