This role requires working across multiple client and internal systems while coordinating closely with Account Management, Billing, and other teams to ensure timely follow-up, accurate resolution of outstanding accounts, and overall AR performance. The Senior Associate plays a key role in handling escalations, identifying trends, and maintaining operational efficiency across accounts.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage follow-up and resolution of outstanding accounts for enterprise-level clients</li> <li>Perform AR activities across multiple client and internal systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency</li> <li>Investigate and resolve complex denials, underpayments, and account discrepancies</li> <li>Coordinate with Billing, Account Management, and other teams to address issues impacting reimbursement</li> <li>Monitor and manage workqueues to ensure timely and accurate account follow-up</li> <li>Identify trends in denials, payer behavior, and workflow inefficiencies</li> <li>Support reconciliation efforts across systems, including payments and account balances</li> <li>Assist with client-related requests and provide updates on account status as needed</li> <li>Ensure adherence to SLAs, client requirements, and internal performance standards</li> <li>Provide guidance and support to AR Associates working on enterprise accounts</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>3+ years of accounts receivable or revenue cycle experience required</li> <li>Strong understanding of AR workflows, denial management, and payer follow-up</li> <li>Experience working with complex or high-volume accounts</li> <li>Ability to navigate multiple systems and reconcile data across platforms</li> <li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills</li> <li>Effective communication and collaboration skills</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience supporting enterprise or multi-location healthcare clients</li> <li>Familiarity with multiple billing systems and/or EHR platforms (e.g., Epic)</li> <li>Experience working in cross-functional, highly coordinated environments</li> <li>Prior mentoring or training experience</li> </ul> <p> </p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">Pay Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$70,000</span><span class="divider">—</span><span>$85,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p> </p> <p><strong>Benefits</strong></p> <p>Alteva RCM offers our employees a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, employee assistance plan, paid family leave, short-term disability and life insurance.
