This is a hands-on role requiring proficiency in architecture, design, and coding, with a critical focus on preparing the integration team for upcoming SAP integration work.<br/><br/>Essential Duties and Responsibilities<br/><br/>Architecture and Strategy<br/><ul><li>Define and develop initiative and project Architecture.</li> <li>Serve as the Technical Integrations Consultant to CDOT agencies.</li> <li>Act as the decision-maker on technical implementation direction.</li> <li>Investigate, understand, and lead the implementation of new tools, architectures, and complex integrations.</li> <li>Identify and communicate future Enterprise initiatives that impact CDOT.</li> <li>Identify forward-looking technical debt and architecture needs.</li></ul><br/>Design, Development, and Quality<br/><ul><li>Create and define High Level Designs for complex integrations.</li> <li>Perform complex development and complex technical design.</li> <li>Validate requirements and provide accurate implementation estimates.</li> <li>Define and enforce standards, including naming conventions and coding standards.</li> <li>Validate Senior Developer deliverables, including performing code reviews.</li></ul><br/>Platform Operations and Support<br/><ul><li>Identify and resolve Anypoint platform configuration, platform, and infrastructure issues.1</li> <li>Set up the Build and Release pipeline, repository branch permissions, and variable group libraries.</li> <li>Create tooling for reporting and auditing, including ad hoc reports and vCore adjustments.1</li> <li>Provide complex support issue debugging and resolution.</li> <li>Assist with QA team member onboarding, ongoing testing setup, and providing configuration knowledge for users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).</li></ul><br/>Mentorship<br/><ul><li>Mentor team members on development standards, technical design, and complex problem resolution.</li></ul><br/><br/>Required Experience and Qualifications<ul> <li>Expert-level experience as a MuleSoft Architect or Sr. Developer, specializing in developing and implementing API-led architectures.</li> <li>6+ years MuleSoft Development experience</li> <li>Demonstrated experience with SAP Integration Suite and connecting to SAP data sources/interfaces, which is critical for future integration projects.</li> <li>Proven ability to perform deep requirements validation and provide reliable effort estimates.</li> <li>Extensive background in complex design creation and technical documentation.</li> <li>Advanced skills in complex coding and development (Mule 4 and DW 2.0+ is a must).</li> <li>Familiarity with build and release pipelines and safely storing sensitive credentials.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of security, logging, auditing, policy management, and performance monitoring for end-to-end process execution</li></ul></div>
