Associate Content Specialist

About the position

The Associate Content Specialist for HEYDUDE is responsible for supporting the creation, capture, and editing of social-first content that drives engagement, brand awareness, and cultural relevance. This role partners closely with Social, Community, Influencer, Talent, and Brand Marketing teams and reports into the Social & Community function, contributing to the execution of content production, campaign support, and a best-in-class in-house content engine.

Responsibilities

  • Capture photo and video content for social channels, campaigns, events, talent activations, retail openings, and brand moments
  • Edit short-form video and social content for platforms including TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
  • Execute content briefs in partnership with Social, Community, Influencer, and Brand Marketing teams
  • Support content production planning, including pre-production, shot lists, logistics, and asset management
  • Travel to events and activations to capture real-time and behind-the-scenes content storytelling
  • Monitor emerging content trends and platform best practices to maintain cultural relevance
  • Organize and maintain content libraries and production assets for cross-functional accessibility
  • Collaborate across Social, Community, Influencer, Talent, Creative, and Brand teams to ensure timely delivery aligned with brand standards

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Marketing, Communications, Media Production, Film, Photography, or related field – or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience creating, shooting, editing, or producing digital and social-first content
  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Reels, Stories, and YouTube Shorts content creation
  • Proficiency in Premiere Pro and Canva; experience with Lightroom and Photoshop preferred
  • Experience capturing content using mobile devices; professional camera experience a plus
  • Highly organized with strong project management and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Ability to travel and support events, including occasional evenings and weekends
  • Boston, MA based; hybrid schedule (on-site Monday–Thursday, remote Friday)
  • Up to 30% travel
