<p> Associate, Shared Services - Record to Report (Accounting) (External Agency Staff)<br /> The Associate within the Record to Report team supports the accuracy and integrity of financial records through day-to-day accounting operations within the Shared Services organization. This role assists in journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting. The position contributes to maintaining compliance with accounting policies, supports internal and external audit requirements, and partners with finance teams to uphold effective and efficient record-to-report processes.<br /> <br /> Responsibilities:<br /> • Prepare journal entries while maintaining the general ledger to meet monthly and quarterly close deadlines.<br /> • Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.<br /> • Collaborate with finance teams to gather, review, and validate financial data for statutory and management reporting.<br /> • Assist in implementing new accounting standards or regulatory changes as directed by management.<br /> • Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.<br /> • Adhere to accounting policies, procedures, and internal control requirements to ensure compliance and data integrity.<br /> • Partner with the Global Process Owner and Shared Services teams to identify and recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency and standardization.<br /> Required Qualifications:<br /> • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.<br /> • Minimum of 1-3+ years of relevant experience<br /> Terms /Expected Hours of Work:<br /> This job posting is for a position with one of the NFL's third-party agency partners that provides services to the NFL.
