Job Description Job Description Beach House Center for Recovery is a well-established treatment facility in Palm Beach County that offers a full continuum of care to adults struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our goal is to give patients the freedom they have been waiting for by placing an emphasis on the healing power of love and connection. We are currently looking for a Behavioral Health Technician, with excellent communication skills, to add to our Behavioral Services Staff. Responsibilities Include: Works daily with patients to provide support, encouragement, and guidance Assists in emergency situations as directed Ensures patients attend scheduled activities Recognizes crisis situations and provides appropriate interventions based on training and experience Qualifications Include: Professional demeanor, and ability to act professionally with clients and staff at all time The position requires walking and standing both indoors and outdoors Must be agreeable to work in all locations: Juno Beach, North Palm Beach & Singer Island Salary: Starting at $15.50 per hour Schedule: 7:00 am-7:30 pm or 7:00 pm-7:30 am Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays Experience: Behavioral health: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Valid Driver's License (Required) All candidates offered a position must consent to a comprehensive background check including employment history, education verification, criminal records, driving history and other relevant checks. A pre-employment drug screen is also required as part of the hiring process.
