Business Development Associate

<p>This is a remote position.</p> <h2>Position Overview<br></h2> <p>The Business Development Associate will drive sales across all companies, products, and services within the Estoras Group. This role focuses on new client acquisition, revenue growth from existing accounts, and franchise sales, with a global market reach. <br></p> <b>The compensation structure is purely commission-based, consistent with the group’s standard model. </b><br> <br> <b>This position is fully remote in Canada only.</b><br> <h2>Core Responsibilities<br></h2> <ul> <li><p>Proactively identify, target, and acquire new clients (B2B, B2C, and franchise) for any Estoras Group company<br></p></li> <li><p>Sell a broad range of products and services across all portfolio companies to a global client base<br></p></li> <li><p>Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to drive up-sell opportunities and secure new contracts/SOWs<br></p></li> <li><p>Collaborate with project managers and senior partners to ensure smooth hand-off and delivery of sold projects<br></p></li> <li><p>Accurately enter all sales and contract details into Zoho Projects for commission tracking<br></p></li> <li><p>Maintain a robust pipeline and report on sales activities and forecasts<br></p></li> </ul> <h2>Compensation Structure<br></h2> <ul> <li><p><b>New Client Acquisition:</b> 10% commission on Gross Profit (GP) per sale, calculated at the time of sale and entered in Zoho Projects<br></p> <ul> <li><p><i>Example:</i> $50,000 project – $25,000 COGS = $25,000 GP → 10% = $2,500 commission<br></p></li> <li><p>The project budget for delivery is set at the GP amount<br></p></li> </ul></li> <li><p><b>Revenue from Existing Clients:</b> 6% commission on GP for new contracts, quotes, or up-sells from current clients, calculated at the time of sale and entered in Zoho Projects<br></p></li> <li><p><b>Annual Team Bonuses:</b> If the team exceeds the annual revenue target set by management, all team members involved receive a management-determined cash bonus<br></p></li> </ul> <h2>Deal Size<br></h2> <ul> <li><p>Typical deal sizes range from $20,000 to $2,000,000<br></p></li> </ul> <h2>About Opus & Estoras Group<br></h2> <p>Opus is part of the Estoras Group, a Vancouver-based professional services group with a diverse portfolio and a partner-owned structure.
