Take the initiative to explore your potential and embark on an exciting career journey with Johnson Controls.</p><p></p><p><b>What you will do</b></p><p>A Wholesale Controls Channel Account Manager <b>focuses on Wholesale Distributor</b> <b>accounts, building relationships with new and existing customers, expanding sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction within the HVAC and Commercial Refrigeration Controls industry. </b></p><p></p><p><b>How you will do it</b></p><p>Sales and Account Management:</p><ul><li><p>Develop and implement control strategy plans for HVAC/R Wholesale accounts.</p></li><li><p>Build and maintain strong relationships with Wholesale customers.</p></li><li><p>Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the HVAC/R Wholesale channel.</p></li><li><p>Work with many different roles within the customers organization, including executive leadership, engineering, product management, procurement, and sourcing.</p></li><li><p>Achieve and exceed sales targets.</p></li></ul><p>Product Knowledge and Technical Expertise:</p><ul><li><p>Possess a strong technical understanding of HVAC and Refrigeration systems</p></li><li><p>Provide technical support and guidance to Wholesale customers.</p></li><li><p>Stay up to date on industry trends and technologies.</p></li></ul><p>Customer Focus:</p><ul><li><p>Understand Wholesale customer needs and requirements.</p></li><li><p>Provide exceptional customer service and support.</p></li><li><p>Address customer concerns and resolve issues effectively.</p></li></ul><p>Business Acumen:</p><ul><li><p>Forecast sales and manage opportunities.</p></li><li><p>Understand the sales process and cycle.</p></li><li><p>Develop and manage account plans.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we look for</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree (MS/MBA preferred).</p></li><li><p>5+ years of direct outside sales experience, with a preference for experience in the HVAC/R industry</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of HVAC/R systems.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.</p></li><li><p>Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Salary Range: HIRING SALARY RANGE: $97,000 - 152,000 (Salary to be determined by the <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">education, experience,</span> knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account volume and margin on a project, quarterly, and annual basis.
