<p><span style="font-weight: bold">Company Description</span></p> <p><span>A leading brand in Engineering Management and BIM, with megaprojects in its portfolio.</span></p> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Role Description</span></p> <p>This is a full-time remote role for a Commercial Manager at BIMTEC. The Commercial Manager provides commercial and contractual expertise to support the delivery of projects and ensure that they are managed effectively. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing commercial frameworks, contracts management, and financial management, as well as identifying and mitigating project risks. Moreover, the Commercial Manager must ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant legislation, as well as undertake any other duties as necessary to support the delivery of projects within the department.</p> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Responsibilities</span></p> <p><br></p> <ul> <li>Monitor production tasks to ensure they are within budget, deadline goals and quality by tracking and monitoring progress on a daily basis and reporting immediately any deviations found. </li> <li>Lead, overlook and combine production of reports at the organization level, including validation and issuance of internal progress reports. </li> <li>Review and negotiate contract conditions at the tendering stage. </li> <li>Monitoring of Internal Reporting and training on internal reporting tools.</li> <li>Prepare and get approvals for Yearly and Monthly Revenue Simulations for the company. </li> <li>Prepare and get approvals for the Monthly Consolidated Target Plan.</li> <li>Request and follow-up for issuance of Monthly Technical Certifications from all projects with the Project Managers.</li> <li>Prepare Monthly Invoice Form for all projects (based on approved monthly technical certification) and submit for approval.                       </li> <li>Follow up for interim payment certificate completion with Project Technical Managers.</li> <li>Keep up-to-date company's production benchmarks by collecting the data from all projects for the resources and time spent on milestones and individual tasks (to be provided by each project's Project Manager) </li> <li>Prepare Letters and Correspondence related to commercial matters to the company's clients, such as claims, variations, notices, instructions, etc., based on the data provided by the project's Project Technical Manager. </li> <li>Keep the Project Managers informed about commercial and contract matters, such as project contract terms, approved, not approved or pending VOs/Claims, and BOQ with the list of our contracted deliverables. </li> <li>Identify the list of resources allocated monthly for each project (All offices), for cost allocation purposes. </li> <li>Request and follow-up for technical reports used for substantiations on commercial claims/variations from the project's Project Technical Manager.</li> <li>File documents in physical and digital records as per company standards.</li> </ul> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Qualifications</span></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. </li> <li>Master's degree in business administration, Finance, or a relevant field is a plus</li> <li>Experience in contracts and commercial management within the construction industry.</li> <li>Sound knowledge of industry-standard contract forms and relevant legislation and regulations.</li> <li>Strong commercial acumen, with experience in risk management and financial management.</li> <li>Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.</li> <li>Ability to coordinate and manage workloads to meet deadlines.</li> <li>Experience with project management and delivery, as well as solid problem-solving capabilities.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and relevant software applications.</li> </ul>
