Construction Laborer

Job Overview:

Winkler’s Excavating & Grading is seeking experienced and reliable Construction Laborers / Equipment Operators to join our growing team. We are a professional full service contractor specializing in but not limited to excavation, site work, racking, demolition, concrete cutting and or polishing and material hauling for residential and commercial projects.

We are looking for individuals who understand job site operations, take pride in their work, and can operate efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

  • Full-time
  • 6:00am-2:30pm Monday–Friday
  • Occasional Weekend and Night Work
Pay
  • $22-$27 (Depending on Experience)
Responsibilities
  • Assist with site preparation.
  • Assist with excavation, grading, and demolition projects
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
  • Communicate effectively with foremen and crew members
  • Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks such as moving materials, tools, and equipment around the job site.
  • Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
  • Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe construction site for all team members.
Qualifications - Required
  • 3+ years Prior experience in construction, excavation, and or demolition
  • Valid California Driver’s License
  • Ability to speak English
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in outdoor environments
  • Reliable transportation to job sites
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Qualifications - Preferred
  • Experience operating equipment (skid steer, forklift, excavator, etc.)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • OSHA Safety Knowledge
