Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Server / bartender (dual role) to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings, bar setting is highly valued.

This role involves providing attentive service, managing orders accurately, and ensuring guest satisfaction from arrival to departure.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and present menus with detailed descriptions of dishes and specials
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
  • Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest experience and sales
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
  • Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems and process payments efficiently
  • Assist with food handling, sanitation, and kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations
  • Clear tables, bus tables, and maintain cleanliness of dining areas throughout service
  • Provide knowledgeable guest relations by answering questions about menu items and accommodating special requests
  • Support team members in maintaining a clean, organized work environment adhering to food safety standards
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality excellence
  • Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts and multitask efficiently
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
  • Experience with upselling techniques to increase sales opportunities
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights; weekend availability preferred
