NFS acts as a strategic sales-enabler, creating tailored, flexible, private label financing structures (such as consumption-based models, deferred, seasonal payment structures, and other customized payment options) that help our customers transition smoothly to Nutanix software while optimizing their available budgets.

About the Team

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategically minded Customer Finance Manager to join the NFS) team. Reporting directly to the Director of NFS, you will be a key player in accelerating the sales cycle for high-value accounts (enterprise, commercial, SLED, FED, etc.). In this remote role, you will act as a consultative partner to the Go-To-Market (GTM) sales organization, designing custom financial solutions, managing relationships with external funding partners, and mitigating credit risk. This role will be a remote role based in Central or Eastern time zones as this person will provide support, as needed, to EMEA and APAC.

Your Role

  • Deal Structuring & Financial Engineering: Partner with account executives to architect creative financing solutions that resolve customer budget constraints while aligning to Nutanix business guidelines.
  • Create Trusted, Consultative Partnerships: Partner with key internal Program on cross functional teams to help evolve the NFS Program. Note that there will be light support requirements outside of the US.
  • Funder Relationship Management: Collaborate closely with our network of third-party bank partners and syndication funders to secure competitive rates, ensure seamless deal placement, maximize funding capacity, and develop customized payment options as the Nutanix business evolves.
  • End-to-End Deal Execution: Manage the entire NFS financing life cycle from initial customer discovery and pricing requests to credit underwriting coordination, document generation, signing, and ultimate funding.
  • Sales Enablement & Training: Act as an internal champion for the NFS program; conduct training sessions for the remote sales force on how to leverage financing as a value-added closing tool.
  • Credit & Risk Assessment: Conduct preliminary financial analysis to gauge creditworthiness prior to formal underwriting submission.
  • Metrics & Portfolio Tracking: Help to create & maintain reporting dashboards tracking key NFS metrics, including financed volume, funded deal margins, sales attachment rates, and pipeline activity.

What You Will Bring

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or formal commercial credit training is a significant plus.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in Captive IT Finance or Tech Vendor Finance preferred
  • Domain Knowledge: Understanding of technology financing structures, discounting formulas, present value (PV) calculations, and commercial contract terminology.
  • Remote Capability: Proven track record of working effectively in a fast-paced, autonomous, and fully distributed/remote corporate environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling & pricing), Salesforce.com (SFDC), Tableau
  • Commercial Mindset: Ability to view credit and financing through a sales-enablement lens, finding creative paths to "yes" while maintaining fiscal discipline.
  • Influence & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships across distributed sales teams, legal departments, corporate revenue teams, and external banking executives.
  • Agility & Pace: Comfort navigating complex, high-stakes deal negotiations under tight quarter-end deadlines.

Work Arrangement

Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 116,800 and USD $ 234,000 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
