Data Center Construction Cleaning (Weekend Shifts)

DCSG are seeking a dedicated and energetic Data Center Floor Cleaning Technician to maintain a pristine and safe environment within our high-tech data center facilities. In this vital role, you will ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the data center floors, including specialized cleaning of carpets, hard surfaces, and equipment areas. Your efforts will directly contribute to the operational efficiency, safety, and professionalism of our data center operations. Duties

  • Perform thorough cleaning of data center floors, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming carpets to maintain a spotless environment
  • Conduct specialized carpet cleaning and spot removal to preserve flooring quality and appearance
  • Use buffing machines and floor care equipment to restore shine and protect surfaces from wear
  • Maintain cleanliness of walkways, aisles, and equipment areas by removing dust, debris, and spills promptly
  • Follow established janitorial protocols for environmental services, ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures
  • Assist with routine custodial tasks such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces
  • Document cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately

Experience

  • Prior janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial or industrial setting is preferred
  • Hands-on experience with floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and carpet cleaning is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of environmental services practices and safety regulations related to commercial cleaning environments
  • Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, carpet extractors, and related tools
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
