Sureify’s products empower life insurance carriers, agents, employees, and customers to have the digital experiences employees and consumers have come to expect in the rapidly advancing tech climate.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a scrappy, creative, and highly motivated Pre-Sales Demo Engineer. In this role, you will be the engine behind our pre-sales team, responsible for building, maintaining, and upgrading the demo environments our sales reps use every day. While this role is initially internal-facing, it is designed as a launchpad. For the right candidate, this position offers a direct mentorship path to become a fully customer-facing Technical Solution Consultant or Sales Engineer within 12 to 24 months.

Key Responsibilities:

Demo Environment Ownership: Maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot core sales demo environments to ensure they are always pitch-ready and running on the latest product releases.

Technical Troubleshooting: Act as the first line of defense when we encounter a technical issue or breakage within a demo environment.

Collaboration: Work closely with our Senior Technical Solution Consultant to build custom Proof of Concepts (POCs) and execute the backend technical tasks required for complex deals.

Data Management: Populate and manage realistic, compelling data sets within the demo environments so they resonate with our prospects' business use cases.

Candidate Profile:

Native/Fluent English (Customer-Facing Trajectory): Because this role is a stepping stone to a customer-facing position, native or highly fluent English is an absolute requirement. You need to be a creative problem solver who can piece things together to make a demo look great and function flawlessly.

Technical Tool-belt: Familiarity with TypeScript (frontend and backend) and APIs. You should be comfortable enough with these technologies to manipulate data streams, tweak frontend components, and connect systems for a seamless demo experience.

Strong Communicator (High EQ): You need to understand the business value behind the technology, not just the code, and communicate effectively with internal sales teams. We will help teach these concepts.

Adaptable & Scrappy: You thrive in a fast-paced sales environment and are comfortable shifting priorities when an urgent demo request comes in.

Life Insurance & Annuity Domain knowledge is a plus, but not required.

Core Technical Skills:

Must-Have

TypeScript Backend / Node

TypeScript Frontend / React

REST API Consumption & Debugging

AWS Basics (Cognito, S3, CloudWatch)

Data Seeding & Environment Management

Nice-To-Have

Python Scripting

CI/CD Troubleshooting

PHP

Career Progression:

This is an entry-point into strategic enterprise solution consulting.
