This individual will play a critical role in ensuring application changes are deployed securely, efficiently, and consistently across multiple environments while maintaining governance, security, and operational stability.</p><p><br></p><p>This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys owning release processes, CI/CD pipelines, deployment governance, and Microsoft Fabric administration within a large-scale Microsoft ecosystem.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p><p><strong>DevOps & Release Management</strong></p><ul><li>Own and manage enterprise CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.</li><li>Coordinate and execute scheduled production releases and emergency deployments.</li><li>Manage the complete release lifecycle from development through testing and production.</li><li>Ensure application deployments follow established change management and governance processes.</li><li>Continuously improve release automation, deployment reliability, and operational efficiency.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Environment Management</strong></p><ul><li>Administer application deployments across Development, Test, QA, and Production environments.</li><li>Promote application code through each stage of the software development lifecycle while ensuring controlled, auditable deployments.</li><li>Maintain environment integrity, deployment quality, and operational stability.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Microsoft Fabric Administration</strong></p><ul><li>Create, configure, and administer Microsoft Fabric workspaces.</li><li>Manage workspace governance, organization, permissions, and security.</li><li>Support deployment pipelines, capacity management, and workspace performance optimization.</li><li>Partner with development and analytics teams to support Microsoft Fabric platform operations.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Security & Governance</strong></p><ul><li>Manage user access, permissions, and role-based security.</li><li>Enforce segregation of duties and governance standards.</li><li>Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies and deployment controls.</li><li>Support audit readiness and change management processes.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of experience in DevOps, Release Engineering, Build & Release, or Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).</li><li>Strong experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise release management.</li><li>Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Fabric workspaces and deployment pipelines.</li><li>Experience managing application deployments across multiple environments.</li><li>Strong understanding of source control using Git.</li><li>Experience with Azure cloud services.</li><li>Knowledge of access management, role-based security, and governance best practices.</li><li>Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration skills.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Microsoft Fabric administration experience.</li><li>Power BI administration or deployment experience.</li><li>SQL Server knowledge.</li><li>Azure Pipelines and YAML pipeline development.</li><li>Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, etc.).</li><li>Experience supporting enterprise application deployments within regulated environments such as Financial Services.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>About CGS Business Solutions:</strong></p><p>CGS specializes in IT business solutions, staffing and consulting services.
