This role primarily focuses on OEM-agnostic Newtrax and UFR digital offerings, driving lead generation, sales growth, and business development while supporting AutoMine sales to existing Sandvik customers. You will leverage digital tools and CRM platforms to identify, engage, and convert prospects, manage customer relationships, and create visibility into the opportunity funnel. Take the next step and apply!</p><p></p><p><b>What you will be doing</b></p><ul><li>Sales & Growth<ul><li>Develop and execute automation sales strategies, win plans, and business models for AutoMine, Newtrax and UFR offerings.</li><li>Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline; identify potential customers, develop engagement plans, and lead automation project sales.</li><li>Provide technical and value-based sales expertise to maximize short- and long-term business potential.</li><li>Support AutoMine sales as required and provide account management support for Newtrax and UFR offerings.</li><li>Initiate leads through cold calling, industry events, expos, and customer forums; screen and categorize customer interactions.</li></ul></li><li>Customer & Market<ul><li>Build and manage direct customer relationships; keep effectively up to date with customer needs and concerns.</li><li>Monitor, collect, and report competitor intelligence; maintain a fact-based view of market share development across Canada.</li><li>Support customer trials/rentals, ensuring appropriate contracts, KPIs, and processes are followed.</li></ul></li><li>Pricing, Forecasting & Process Excellence<ul><li>Analyze pricing models and make recommendations; support pricing processes and discount management.</li><li>Ensure QAR/CAR approval processes are followed and robust business cases are created.</li><li>Collaborate closely with Sales Areas on forecasting, demand planning input, and marketing activities; keep tools and systems (e.g., CRM) accurate and up to date.</li><li>Develop systematic ways of working and ensure process adherence across Sales Areas.</li></ul></li><li>Collaboration & Leadership in a Matrix<ul><li>Work cross-functionally with local and global sales and factory teams, Business Line Managers, Area Managers, Account Managers, and Automation backline.</li><li>Contribute to business development plans and drive execution; coordinate product launches and promotional activities with marketing.</li><li>Demonstrate a sense of urgency, prioritize effectively, and maintain strong communication across stakeholders.</li></ul></li><li>Safety & Environment<ul><li>Ensure all reasonable steps are taken to provide a safe and healthy working environment and follow Sandvik’s EHS standards at customer and Sandvik facilities.</li></ul></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you will bring along</b></p><ul><li>Education & Background<ul><li>A technical background with a bachelor’s degree in engineering (and/or business) with business experience; OR a bachelor’s degree in business with a technical background or experience.</li><li>Well-developed understanding of the mining industry and associated equipment (essential).</li><li>At least 5 years of active involvement with mining operations and customer business processes (essential).</li><li>Knowledge of Sandvik’s product range (desirable).</li><li>Understanding of cellular networks and related technologies (desirable).</li></ul></li><li>Experience & Skills<ul><li>Proven sales experience or strong willingness to learn value-selling techniques.</li><li>Sales and business development experience bringing advanced technical solutions to market.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to sell to all levels of decision-makers (site-based and corporate) with long sales cycle stamina.</li><li>Strong customer service focus, even under pressure;
