About the RoleIn this role, you will direct software development, delivery and support efforts of highly scalable and high performing technology solutions in an Agile work environment and produce and deliver code and/or test cases using Agile practices. You will provide leadership and direction to technical managers, architects, quality assurance engineers, developers and other technologists in resolving critical production issues to help simplify and improve business processes through the latest in technology and automation. You are a technical expert and will lead through the requirements gathering, design, development, deployment, and support phases of a product. You will establish operational objectives and assignments for managers across related departments or functional units.What You'll Do

  • Leads and influences the vision of the product by contributing to software design and architecture that result in high performing technology.

  • Develop and enhance software to solve complex business problems where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of the company by keeping customer experience at the forefront.

  • Lead and model a DevOps mindset by applying automation, continuous integration and continuous delivery in everything we do.

  • Foster innovation acting as a change agent to support business growth, reduce operational costs, and improve service levels by applying best practices and learning from emerging technologies.

  • Provide engineering leadership, collaborating and influencing at senior levels.

  • Thought leader, contributing to development of methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people in projects and assignments of diverse scope.

  • Experience with leading teams including establishing organizational goals aligned with product vision to achieve business success.

  • Strong communication skills with proven ability to guide senior levels and cross functional teams both internal and external.

  • Possesses deep technical knowledge, years of software development experience (large scale applications, continuous integration/delivery practices).

  • Expert knowledge of complex software languages and platforms such as Java, Oracle, Azure etc. and emerging languages and trends.

  • Strategic thought leader and problem solver that is able lead through others developing creative solutions.
