Position Summary

The Director of Ticketing will create and oversee all concert and other event ticketing operations for the CFG Bank Arena.
The candidate will be a driven self-starter who works well without significant oversight.
In addition, the candidate will have a strong ability to communicate and collaborate with all members of the team.
This candidate will interface with Ticketmaster, Live Nation, Feld, and other promoters to create and manage their events.
The Director of Ticketing will ensure his or her team is operating within the scope of Generally Accepted Ticket Operations Standards and Practices.
He/She shall manage all ticket distribution and will hire, train, supervise, and manage the Box Office staff, which may exceed over 20 people.
The Director of Ticketing will be proficient in TM One, TM Host, Archtics, Account Manager, Microsoft Office, Paymentech, and other third-party platforms such as FEVO and Eventellect.


This role pays an annual salary of $120,000-$140,000 and is bonus eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Work to ensure that an accurate event scaling and manifest is created for new events in the ticketing system.
  • Build all arena events in Ticketmaster and manage all necessary holds for all concerts, entertainment, family, sporting, and other events.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with promoters and their respective ticketing personnel to help them manage their manifests and holds.
  • Assist in the preparing, implementing, and controlling all aspects of club seat ticket renewals, pricing, incoming payments, and payment plans
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors.
  • Develop accurate and insightful reports on ticket sales and services as requested.
  • Hire, manage, and train a friendly and efficient box office staff.
  • Act as lead in software training and integration, including training for staff.
    This includes receiving on-going training and actively seeking out knowledge in all software to be the team expert in technology as it relates to box office and ticketing.
  • Ensure the team is adhering to all PCI compliance standards.
  • Work as the main facilitator for reconciliations with the finance department.
  • Communicate openly with the Premium Sales department on all aspects of ticket operations.
  • Manage and control group ticket inventory.
  • Order supplies for ticket operations (ticket stock, season tickets, forms, envelopes, etc.

  • Create and manage box office protocol.
  • Act as one of the primary Executives on Duty at all events held at the arena.
  • Work with the Marketing & Sales team to develop a "how to guide" for accessing mobile tickets.
  • Lead with a one "team" mentality that inspires and energizes staff to do their best while feeling supported.
Qualifications
  • Ticketmaster and Archtics platform experience required along.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or a combination of related education and work experience.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of ticketing and/or account management experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of managing staff-hiring experience a bonus.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially with Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills.
  • Team player with a positive attitude, professionalism, resourcefulness, integrity, motivation, and a strong work ethic.
  • A high degree of personal integrity and consistently put the interests of the organization ahead of his/her own.
  • Minimal Travel (<5% travel):
    May be required to travel.
    Trips may require air travel and/or overnight stays away from home for one or more nights.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required.
