E-Commerce & Content Marketing Manager (Remote)

E-Commerce & Content Marketing Manager (Remote work from anywhere)

Full-time contract | $3,000 to $4,500 USD/month + performance bonuses

Who We Are

We are a profitable, seven figure compression apparel brand selling on Amazon and Shopify. We compete in a crowded category by caring more than everyone else: better product, better feel, better brand. We're a small, fast team led by a founder who sets the direction and then gets out of your way. No layers, no committees, and no waiting three weeks for someone to approve an Instagram caption.

We're heading into an exciting growth phase. New markets, a much bigger content engine, and a DTC channel we want to build into something as strong as our Amazon business. That's the job we're hiring you to do, and we think it's a fun one.

The Role

You'll be the engine behind everything our customers see. The founder owns strategy. You own the shipping. This is a maker's seat where you'll write, design, post, test, and measure every week, with premium AI tools paid for and ready on day one. We expect you to be genuinely good with them.

Here's the honest pitch: in 12 months you'll have a portfolio most marketers need five years to build. Email flows with real revenue attached to your name. A social presence you grew yourself. Amazon content you authored. A Shopify store you made shine. If you've been stuck doing one narrow slice of marketing at a bigger company, this is your chance to run the whole engine.

What You'll Own

Content & Social (your biggest lane)

Plan and ship 3 to 5 posts per week across Instagram and TikTok

Produce or direct short form video. You can shoot, edit, and post on your own, no production team needed

Spot trends early and turn them into content that fits an athletic brand, and know which trends to skip

Manage the community: DMs, comments, and UGC sourcing

Use AI image and video tools to multiply your output while keeping everything on brand and original

Email & Retention

Own the Privy account: 2 to 4 campaigns per week plus core flows (welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandon, post purchase, win back)

Grow the list with pop ups, quizzes, and lead magnets

Your headline number: email drives 20 to 30% of DTC revenue within 12 months

Amazon Creative

Make our listings and A+ content the best in the category: copy, infographics, comparison charts, and video

Keep main images and galleries fresh and conversion tested

PPC is handled by a specialist. You own how the listings look and read, not the ad spend

Shopify

Own the store end to end: PDP copy, collection pages, homepage, navigation, and blog

Run structured CRO tests with a hypothesis, a metric, and a documented result

Keep the app stack lean and the details tight

New Markets

Help us prep content, listings, and creative as we expand into new marketplaces and audiences

You'll Thrive Here If You

Have 3 to 5 years in house at a DTC brand (apparel, activewear, or CPG preferred) wearing multiple hats

Live on short form platforms already. TikTok and Reels are home turf for you, not something you studied

Know Klaviyo deeply and Shopify well (basic Liquid, theme tweaks, conversion fundamentals)

Use AI tools like Claude and image generators every day and have real opinions about them

Write extremely well in English (this role is writing heavy). Spanish is a nice bonus

Are a finisher: calendars planned weeks ahead, checklists cleared, details caught before anyone asks

Ask when something is unclear instead of guessing and running with it

Maybe even ran your own brand, side project, or content account that got real traction. We love that

You Won't Enjoy This If You

Want to set brand strategy or manage a team (this is a hands on operator seat)

Prefer managing agencies and freelancers over doing the work yourself

Need a detailed brief for every task

Compensation & Structure

$3,000 to $4,500 USD/month base, depending on experience

Quarterly performance bonuses tied to three numbers: email revenue contribution, DTC conversion rate, and content output and engagement

All AI tools, software, and stock assets paid for

100% remote, (up to 40 hours contract work /week)

Must overlap at least 4 hours daily with US Eastern time

12 month contract with intent to renew. We're building for the long term and want someone who grows with the brand

How to Apply

Send us:

One paragraph (150 words max) on why this role fits you. Specifics, not a generic cover letter

Two email flows you've built, with results

Three pieces of creative you've produced or directed, including at least one short form video

Your time zone and weekly availability

Any DTC brand you've worked on that we might recognize

Applications that follow this format exactly go to the top of the pile. That's not a trick. Attention to detail is the job, and we can't wait to see your work.

Individual applicants only. Agency submissions will not receive a response and will be reported to Linkedin.
