This is a role for someone who loves rolling up their sleeves, thinks analytically, and cares deeply about the customer experience.</p> <p><strong><em>Role Overview</em></strong></p> <p>As our Ecommerce Manager, you'll own the day-to-day performance and strategy across our DTC website. You'll work closely with our brand, creative, web and operations teams to drive revenue, improve conversion, and deliver a best-in-class shopping experience.</p> <p></p> <table><tbody><tr><td><p><em>This is a high-ownership role. You won't just maintain what exists — you'll identify opportunities, propose solutions, and drive them to completion.</em></p></td></tr></tbody></table> <p></p> <p><strong><em>Key Responsibilities</em></strong></p> <p><strong>Website & Customer Experience</strong></p> <ul><li>Own the DTC website (Shopify) — including product pages, collections, navigation, and on-site merchandising.</li><li>Monitor and improve key conversion metrics: add-to-cart rate, subscription opt-in rate, checkout completion, bounce rate, and average order value.</li><li>Partner with design and copywriting to build and test high-converting landing pages and PDPs.</li><li>Lead A/B testing initiatives across product pages, homepage, and checkout flows.</li><li>Ensure a seamless, on-brand experience across desktop and mobile.</li><li>Coordinate with development resources for site updates, new features, and bug fixes.</li><li>Maintain site health: uptime, page speed, broken links, and technical SEO fundamentals.</li></ul> <p></p> <p><strong>Reporting & Analytics</strong></p> <ul><li>Build and maintain dashboards tracking ecommerce KPIs across channels (revenue, traffic, conversion, ROAS, TACOS)</li><li>Deliver weekly and monthly performance recaps with clear insights and recommendations</li><li>Use data to prioritize initiatives and make the case for resource investment</li></ul> <p><strong><em><br></em></strong></p> <p><strong><em>Qualifications</em></strong></p> <p><strong>Required</strong></p> <ul><li>5-7 years of ecommerce experience, ideally with a DTC brand in CPG, health & wellness, or food/bev</li><li>Hands-on Shopify experience — you know your way around themes, metafields, apps, and the admin</li><li>Experience at a brand with a subscription component (Skio, Recharge, Stay, etc.)</li><li>Comfort with analytics tools: Google Analytics (GA4), Shopify analytics, etc.</li><li>CRO experience — formal testing programs, hypothesis frameworks, or work with tools like Optimizely, Visually, Shoplift, etc.</li><li>Strong project management skills — you're organized, follow through, and keep things moving</li><li>Excellent written communication; you can clearly explain data and ideas to non-technical teammates</li></ul> <p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p> <ul><li>Knowledge of the hemp/CBD regulatory landscape </li><li>Knowledge of health & wellness, food/bev, supplements, etc.</li></ul> <p><strong><em><br></em></strong></p> <p><strong><em>What We Offer</em></strong></p> <ul><li>Competitive salary commensurate with experience</li><li>Full benefits package — 401k, health, dental, and vision</li><li>Generous product allowance (yes, really)</li><li>Remote-friendly with flexibility; we're headquartered in Louisville, KY</li><li>A small, collaborative team where your work visibly matters</li><li>The chance to help build something you're genuinely proud of</li></ul>
