We are seeking a caring, flexible, and faith-filled Elementary Teacher to join our collaborative teaching team. Our elementary program serves approximately 15–20 students total, allowing for strong relationships, individualized instruction, and a family-like learning environment.

Teachers in our co-op share subject responsibilities and work closely together to support students academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally. This position will primarily focus on leading a homeroom and teaching Bible, English Language Arts (ELA), Science, and enrichment classes for elementary students.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and shepherd a small elementary homeroom in a Christ-centered environment, managing routines, prayer, and classroom discipline.
  • Teach Bible integration across subjects, English Language Arts (reading/writing), hands-on Science, and Enrichment electives such as art and life skills.
  • Foster a positive classroom culture rooted in grace, respect, and discipleship.
  • Collaborate with fellow elementary teachers to coordinate schedules, curriculum, shared subject instruction, and differentiating for varying learning levels.
  • Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and staff.
  • Integrate biblical worldview and character development into daily teaching.
  • Maintain classroom organization, lesson planning, and student progress records.
  • Participate in school events, chapel, and community-building activities.

Qualifications

  • Devoted follower of Christ and commitment to modeling Christ-like character
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; Master's degree is a plus
  • State teaching certification or licensure preferred
  • Passion for working with children in a small, relational learning environment
  • Experience teaching elementary students preferred, especially K–2
  • Proficiency in teaching reading, writing, foundational literacy, and hands-on learning
  • Ability to teach multiple subjects with creativity and flexibility
  • Strong communication skills, teamwork, and classroom management skills to interact effectively with parents, colleagues, and students
  • Knowledge of education administration to contribute to school improvement initiatives
  • Experience in lesson planning tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners

Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
