Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Entry-Level Product Support Analyst to support the H-47 Chinook platform in Ridley Park, PA. This position is 100% onsite and is eligible for a flexible work schedule (9/80).
As a member of the Spares Engineering team, you will analyze engineering drawings and parts lists, develop and maintain provisioning technical data in a logistics product database, develop engineering data for provisioning packages, and gain knowledge of aircraft parts, components and maintenance data. Provisioning is an essential part of our customer's supply chain management process and determines the scope of spare and repair parts needed to operate and maintain the aircraft for the duration of its projected service life. Provisioning is performed early in the aircraft development lifecycle along with level of repair and maintenance task analyses that, when combined, form the basis for the aircraft maintenance manuals.
Position Responsibilities:

  • Analyze engineering data and change proposals for spares engineering impacts and incorporate those approved changes into the provisioning database.
  • Investigate, analyze and document data for spares / provisioning requirements by using engineering drawings, specifications, regulations, and field experience.
  • Prepare technical documents, provisioning plans, maintenance plans, engineering data for provisioning, support plans, and briefings while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Apply knowledge of individual customer requirements, supplier capabilities, product configuration, maintenance manuals, warranty policies and procedures.
  • The candidate will interface regularly with military customers, equipment suppliers, and Boeing engineering and manufacturing organizations to ensure delivery of spares engineering products.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):
  • Experience gathering, preparing and analyzing engineering/technical data.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Detail oriented and proven problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, IT, or Engineering or equivalent experience (1-5 years) working on aircraft in the Military.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to communicate knowledge of customer support and company processes in a diverse workplace.
  • Experience using a structured, relational database such as Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server, or SLICwave.
  • Basic knowledge of Department of Defense provisioning standards such as MIL-STD-1388-2B or GEIA-STD-0007.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering/technical drawings and parts lists to develop top-down breakdown lists of aircraft subsystems.
  • Basic knowledge of aircraft maintenance and/or supply chain functions.

Entry-Level Summary Pay Range: $56,950 - 77,050
