Retention Marketing Specialist & Klaviyo Architect

A growing e-commerce company in the alternative health space (red light therapy) is seeking a retention marketing specialist and expert-level Klaviyo developer to manage, optimize, and scale our global email lifecycle architecture. We are not looking for someone who simply writes copy and schedules weekly newsletters. You will be responsible for technical deliverability, complex behavioral segmentation, and deep database optimization.

The primary objective is to build automated lifecycle flows and broadcast strategies that explicitly maximize lifetime value and drive repeat purchases across our premium BIOMAX devices and our upcoming six-pillar mitochondrial supplement line.

Core Responsibilities

Architect, test, and maintain advanced Klaviyo flows, including split-path abandonments, multi-tier post-purchase education, and high-converting upgrade paths.

Develop cross-product retention sequences that introduce premium device owners to our daily, multi-stage supplement protocol.

Implement zero-party data collection strategies to group profiles by precise customer use cases, such as clinical practice, athletic performance, or deep tissue recovery.

Maintain ironclad email deliverability standards across dedicated sending domains, actively monitoring domain health, engagement metrics, and inbox placement.

Program conditional logic templates within Klaviyo to dynamically serve content blocks based on custom profile parameters and specific purchase history.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 10+ years of engineering-grade Klaviyo experience, specifically managing highly technical lifecycle programs for premium consumer health hardware or nutraceutical brands.

Proven mastery of technical deliverability protocols, clean list sanitization, and complex multi-variable segmentation logic.

Deep tactical understanding of every aspect of Klaviyo
