Finance Assistant (Part-Time)

JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support a small finance team of three. This role is primarily clerical and administrative, focused on maintaining accurate financial records, organizing documentation, and supporting day-to-day finance operations.

This is a part-time position (approximately 16–21 hours per week, typically 2–3 days per week). This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to gain experience in finance and accounting operations. A background in finance is helpful but not required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enter and maintain accurate financial data and records
  • Organizing invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
  • File, scan, and maintain digital and physical records
  • Update spreadsheets and basic financial tracking reports
  • Assist with expense tracking and basic reconciliation
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to the finance team
  • Communicate with vendors, contractors, and internal staff as needed
  • Support special projects and general office tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
  • Strong willingness to learn and take initiative
