Job Purpose

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial results, working closely with internal teams and the MTS Corporate Finance team to support the financial management and reporting for the organization, and project budgets.

This role will include support of all monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, development of annual business plan and review of financial performance.

Travel Requirements

Up to 10%.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Reporting
  • Create financial reports to key MTS stakeholders, including monthly closing, financial KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), cost variances, and capacity cost.
  • Variance Analysis: assist divisional management in monitoring, reviewing, and analyzing financial data and develop financial reports for internal and/or external stakeholders.
  • Employee and Contractor`s head-count reporting

Budget Management
  • Support preparation of consolidated quarterly financial outlooks, annual budget, and annual mid-term (3-5 year) strategic plan and business roadmap.
  • Directly involved in budget definition, approval, tracking and execution.
  • Assist adhoc development and analysis of strategic business plans.
  • Monitor and support execution of Capital Expenditure purchases (CAPEX)

Corporative Finance Representative
  • Responsible to promote best practices and proper usage of business tools for budgeting, forecasting, real-time reporting.
  • Review and update Human Resources-related workflows to cover the financial perspective.
  • Review account payable charges.

Others
  • Support Intercompany charges (ex: STOs)
  • Support Sales Tax exemption reports or analysis
  • Provide financial input on new contract negotiations (review budget, create a new internal order, etc)


Required Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Admin, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of progressive Finance and/ or Accounting related experience.
  • Standard concepts, practices, and procedures of corporative finance
  • Corporative budget governance.
  • Tools such as SAP, Oracle, or other comparable ERP system software.
  • MS Excel formulas and functions to gather, analyze, manipulate and audit large data sets.
