Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Assistance: Help customers with plant selections and answer their questions about care and maintenance.
  • Plant Diagnosis: Identify and diagnose issues such as fungus, pests, or other plant health concerns.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain the quality of plants and merchandise, ensuring that everything is well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Knowledge Application: Understand various plant types and their specific environmental needs to provide tailored advice to customers.
  • Stocking and Unloading: Assist in unloading delivery trucks and stocking merchandise efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Availability: Flexible to work weekdays and weekends.
  • Passion for Plants: A genuine enthusiasm for horticulture and a desire to share that passion with customers.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a retail or gardening environment is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
