General Laborer - Construction, Demo & Carpentry

Overview
We are a quickly growing construction team that is looking for a General Laborer specializing in construction, demolition, and carpentry! This role offers an opportunity for growth and hands-on involvement in the construction industry. from site preparation and demolition to finishing touches in carpentry. You'll play a vital part in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

This role starts at $20/hr and may be eligible for bonuses based on completion time.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with site cleanup, material handling, and preparation
  • Support demolition activities by safely removing debris and dismantling structures
  • Perform basic carpentry tasks such as framing, door hanging, trim carpentry, and installing cabinets or flooring
  • Operate power tools and hand tools safely to assist with various construction tasks
  • Assist with other tasks for interior/exterior work

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in construction site work or related fields is preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and basic construction equipment
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality assurance
