About The Role & Team

Embark on an exciting journey with us as we pave the way for our next phase of growth! We're seeking a dynamic Human Resources Generalist on a contract basis to be a driving force supporting our workforce. You'll collaborate with a variety of teams within the Product, Engineering and GA functions, contributing to the scalability and global alignment of our company. You will report directly to the Director, HR Business Partner.

Role Description

This is a six month contract Human Resources Generalist role that will perform a range of HR duties including, but not limited to:

  • Act as a resource to employees regarding HR related matters including being the point-person for employees regarding questions on HR processes, policies, systems, programs, performance management, off boarding, etc.
  • Manage termination processes across Amplitude and act as the liaison between the HRBP and HR Operations team to assure seamless offboarding processing, including Workday termination transactions, drafting severance agreements, etc
  • Partner with HR Business Partners with planning and roll-out of HR programs and initiatives
  • Own & manage the triage of requests coming to the dedicated HRBP email alias
  • Provide support to managers on a reactive basis (ex: process/policy questions, performance matters, talent assessment, etc)
  • Act as headcount liaison between TA, Rev Ops, Finance & represent the HRBPs in all headcount conversations with internal teams
  • Build Google Slide decks with workforce insights, assess and present findings with relevant people metrics and data that will be valuable to the business (attrition, diversity, recruitment activity, etc)
  • Other HR duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist in the tech industry
  • Self-starter who has a proactive mindset, can take initiative, and has a strong desire to learn and execute tasks quickly
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, collaboration, relationship building skills
  • Diverse HR experience in scaling organizations from hundreds to thousands of employees
  • Strong problem-solver with the ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
  • Comfortable operating in a matrix and continuously changing environment
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Experience with systems (HRIS) Workday, Slack, Google Suite
  • Excellent ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth and remote environment

Location: This is a remote position; however, we have offices in SF if interested in a hybrid working environment. Candidate locations preferred in the following states: California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado or Texas.

Pay for this role will be $50 hr.

Hours: Must be available to support west coast business hours 8:30am-5:30pm Mon-Fri.
