JOB PURPOSE: The Category Manager is a strategic partner responsible for delivering data driven insights and growth recommendations across Wegmans, Giant Eagle, and the Naturals Channel. This role leads all category management initiatives, serving as the primary expert on the Ice Cream category and a trusted advisor to both internal teams and retail partners. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Lead category strategy and insights for the Ice Cream category, identifying trends and growth opportunities. • Drive internal and external category management workstreams using best in class principles. • Translate analytics into clear, compelling stories that influence customer and internal decisions. • Leverage tools such as Circana, Richmix, Numerator Insights, and shopper data to build integrated recommendations. • Build strong relationships with customer partners and cross functional teams. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: • 3–4 years of Category Management experience with direct customer interaction. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights. • Experience with Circana, Shopper/Consumer Insights, Richmix, loyalty data, Numerator, and space management tools. • Ability to manage multiple customers and collaborate across teams. • Comfortable working independently under tight deadlines. • Willingness to travel 10–20%.
