In-House Recruiter

Talent Acquisition Partner/Corporate Recruiter/In-House Recruiter

Washington, DC | Hybrid (2–3 days in-office) | Contract to Hire | 3 months

$80,000 - $110,000 Permanent

About Us

FXC Intelligence is the leading provider of cross-border payments data and intelligence. With around 80 colleagues across Washington DC, London and Europe, we work with some of the world's best-known financial services and fintech companies — including Mastercard, PayPal Western Union, Remitly, and HSBC — as well as global institutions like the World Bank. Our data shapes strategy at the highest levels of international payments, banking, and policy.

We're a collaborative, fast-moving team that values ownership and intellectual curiosity. As we grow in the US, hiring exceptional people is core to everything we do — and this role is central to that mission.

The Opportunity

We're hiring a Talent Acquisition Partner — also known in some organisations as an In-House Recruiter, Corporate Recruiter, or Recruiting Partner — to join our team in Washington DC and to own end-to-end hiring across the business. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role for someone who thrives on building relationships, thinks commercially about talent, and knows how to hire great people in competitive markets.

You'll lead full-cycle recruitment across Commercial, Product Management, and Technology/Engineering, while supporting hiring across all functions as we grow. You'll partner closely with hiring managers, bring rigour and creativity to sourcing and assessment, and help us build a candidate experience that reflects who we are.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle for roles across Commercial, Product, Technology, and other functions — from brief to offer.

  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, craft compelling job posts, and build targeted sourcing strategies.

  • Proactively build and maintain talent pipelines across our core hiring areas, with a particular focus on the US market.

  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first contact through onboarding handoff.

  • Manage and optimise our ATS (TeamTailor), ensuring data integrity and meaningful reporting on key hiring metrics.

  • Support employer branding initiatives that position FXC Intelligence as a destination for top talent.

  • Bring insight from the market — benchmarking, competitor intelligence, compensation trends — to inform hiring decisions.

  • Support recruitment for our London office

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Proven experience in full-cycle talent acquisition — sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and closing — ideally within fintech, financial services, data, or technology sectors.

  • Strong track record recruiting across at least two of our core functions: Commercial (Sales, Business Development, Partnerships, Revenue), Product Management, or Technology/Engineering/Data.

  • Deep knowledge of the US talent market, with hands-on sourcing experience across North America and the Americas more broadly. Familiarity with US hiring law and compliance is expected.

  • Professional proficiency in Spanish — written and spoken — to engage candidates across US and Latin American markets.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills — you're a trusted hiring partner to senior leaders, not just an intake coordinator.

  • Data-driven approach: you track pipeline health, time-to-fill, offer acceptance rates, and use the numbers to improve.

  • Comfortable in a lean, high-growth environment where you'll often be building process, not just following it.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience recruiting for a UK-based or dual UK/US employer — understanding of differences in hiring practices, right-to-work compliance, and candidate expectations across both markets.

  • Familiarity with the cross-border payments, fintech, financial data, or payments intelligence space — enough to speak credibly with technical and commercial candidates about what we do.

  • Hands-on experience with modern ATS platforms and sourcing tools including LinkedIn Recruiter.

  • Background spanning both in-house corporate recruitment and agency or search environments.

How We Work

This role is based in our Washington DC office, where we expect team members to be in 2–3 days per week. We're intentional about in-person collaboration — it's where the best conversations happen — while offering flexibility for focused work from home.

You'll work closely with our VP of People and have real influence over how the talent function evolves as we scale.

What We Offer

This role will initially be engaged on a 3-month contract basis, with a view to a permanent position for the right candidate. The below benefits will be available to you once you become a permanent employee.

  • Competitive base salary and performance bonus

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits

  • 401(k)

  • 25 days holiday + federal holiday

  • Annual learning and development budget

  • Access to a careers and wellbeing coach

  • Occasional travel to our London office for social events
