We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Insurance Agent to join our team. This role involves engaging with clients to understand their insurance needs, providing tailored solutions, and building lasting relationships. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, sales expertise, and a passion for helping clients protect their future. Bilingual abilities and experience in outside sales or retail sales are highly valued. As an Insurance Agent, you will play a vital role in expanding our client base and ensuring exceptional service delivery across various insurance products.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with prospective clients through outside sales, telemarketing, and community outreach to promote insurance products.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of client needs to recommend appropriate insurance coverage options.
  • Negotiate policy terms and premiums to secure favorable agreements for clients while meeting company standards.
  • Manage sales administration tasks including documentation, policy processing, and follow-up communications.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, explaining policy details, and assisting with claims or benefits administration.
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA and other privacy standards during client interactions.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve overall customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in insurance sales, retail sales, or telemarketing is preferred.
  • Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities.
  • Ability to analyze client needs and present suitable insurance solutions effectively.
  • Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus for serving diverse client populations.
  • Familiarity with sales administration, marketing strategies, and benefits administration processes.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior knowledge of industry regulations such as HIPAA is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
