You’ll be responsible for deploying new technologies as well as ensuring system performance.</p><p><br><b><u><span>About the team:</span></u></b></p><p></p><p><b><u><span>We provide <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">iSeries/Power8/Power9</span> iSeries Engineering Support and services to FIS Customers.</span></u></b></p><ul><li>We add/configure to Customer Infrastructure Automated System Alert Monitoring solutions in order to reduce/minimize Business Impact when System errors taking place.</li><li>We work in a team environment atmosphere and we are responsible for the Health of the iSeries System.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><u><span>What you will be doing:</span></u></b></p><ul><li>Supporting messaging services and maintaining a secure environment.</li><li>Proposing and implementing system enhancements.</li><li>Monitoring system usage and performance and troubleshooting issues.</li><li>Assisting with hardware and software upgrades or repairs.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><u><span>What you will need:</span></u></b></p><ul><li>Knowledge of multiple iSeries (Power8, Power9, and Power10) operating systems and related utilities and hardware.</li><li>Experience in OS Upgrades and Third Party Software Upgrade in a replication environment using MIMIX and ITERA</li><li>Experience with storage management, TCP/IP, network monitoring and tools.</li><li>A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or the equivalent experience.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><u><span>Added bonus if you have:</span></u></b></p><ul><li>Experience in IBMi performance analysis for <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">evaluation/troubleshooting</span> of jobs consuming high CPU and/or DASD</li><li>Strong knowledge of BRMS (Advance BRMS NETWORK) and configuration of eternal Tape Media Libraries.</li><li>Strong knowledge of HELPSYSTEM Products (ROBOT NETWORK, ROBOT CONSOLE, ROBOT SPACE and ROBOT ALET.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><u><span>What we offer you:</span></u></b></p><p><br>At FIS, you can learn, grow and make an impact in your career.
