iXp Intern - Full-Stack Developer

SAP seeks a Full-Stack Developer intern to design and develop SAP-based applications in a hybrid Palo Alto setting.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Assist in designing, developing, and implementing SAP-based full-stack applications, including front-end, back-end, and database integration
  • Work with SAP HANA Cloud for data storage, processing, and advanced analytics
  • Use SAP Fiori or SAPUI5 for front-end development to create responsive, user-friendly interfaces
  • Implement back-end logic using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) or Node.js/Java in conjunction with SAP services
  • Integrate third-party APIs and work within the SAP ecosystem to create seamless data flows and functionality
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and testing to ensure high-quality performance and functionality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and other development teams, to align on project requirements and deliverables
  • Stay up-to-date with SAP’s evolving technology stack, including new tools, frameworks, and methodologies

About You

What you'll need:

  • Position located in Palo Alto; presence in SAP office mandatory
  • Ability to work full time for 40 hours per week is mandatory
  • Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent, graduated or graduating by summer
  • Strong full-stack expertise with exposure to data and ML/AI
  • Past work experience is an advantage
  • Foundational understanding of SAP technologies such as SAP HANA, SAPUI5, or SAP Fiori
  • Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP HANA Cloud
  • Familiarity with SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 for front-end SAP application development
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs, especially within SAP ecosystems
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus
  • Relevant project experience with SAP full-stack development is a strong advantage
