We are seeking for a dynamic Junior Buyer to join our team in our Orlando facility.

Salary starts at $19 per hour.

A Junior Buyer in Iberia Foods (a large distributor of Caribbean and Hispanic food products) supports the purchasing and procurement process to ensure products (food & beverages) are available, cost-effective, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

Procurement & Purchasing

  • Assist with purchase orders and ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Source food and beverage products from approved suppliers
  • Help compare prices, quality, and delivery timelines for cost-effective buying

Vendor & Supplier Management

  • Communicate with vendors to confirm orders and delivery schedules
  • Evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships

Inventory & Supply Chain Support

  • Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock
  • Track shipments and resolve delays
  • Support demand planning and product availability

Market & Product Analysis

  • Analyze food market trends and pricing
  • Research new products, brands, or alternatives
  • Stay updated on seasonal product availability

Administrative Tasks

  • Maintain accurate purchasing records (pricing, vendors, orders)
  • Assist senior buyers with procurement strategies
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and food industry standards
