Salary: $75,000–$85,000 + Monthly Bonus Opportunities.

Job Summary:
The Kitchen Manager oversees all Back‑of‑House operations for one of our Salty locations. This role is hands‑on and fast‑paced, leading production, quality, team development, scheduling, inventory, and food safety. You’ll ensure every donut and prep item meets The Salty standard while building a strong, connected BOH team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, train, and support BOH teams (dough, prep, frying, décor).
  • Maintain product quality through daily tastings and checks.
  • Oversee production pace, workflow, and execution.
  • Manage ordering, inventory, vendors, and food cost goals.
  • Build weekly prep lists and production plans (Parsley).
  • Create BOH schedules, approve payroll, and adjust staffing as needed.
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness, organization, and food‑safety compliance.
  • Coach team members, conduct reviews, and build a positive culture.
  • Foster a cohesive, family‑style team environment.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of BOH leadership experience (Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, Executive Chef, etc.).
  • Strong operational and team‑leadership skills.
  • Experience in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
  • Ability to coach, motivate, and hold teams accountable.
  • Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Comfortable using digital tools for scheduling, communication, and planning.
  • Passion for quality, consistency, and building a great team culture.
