We've seen it all -- small residential additions, complex slope stabilization, liquefaction hazards, coastal erosion, distressed buildings, and critical infrastructure. - Lead investigations of subsurface and geologic hazards, including slope stability, landslides, fault rupture, liquefaction, coastal bluff erosion, and debris flow.
- Design foundations, retaining walls, earthworks, ground improvements, drainage, and other structures sensitive to soil and rock behavior.
- Analyze field and laboratory data, interpret geologic history, and develop recommendations that are safe, constructable, and cost-effective.
- Support projects through both design and construction phases, including plan reviews, construction observation, monitoring, and peer review to ensure field conditions align with assumptions.
- Mentor junior staff, contribute to a collaborative team culture, and help uphold the technical standards our clients expect.
