Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a high-volume locum tenens assignment in Erie, Pennsylvania. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a medically directed anesthesia care team at a non-profit regional medical center with 19 operating rooms and over 19,000 surgical cases annually.

CRNAs will enjoy a dynamic and respectful practice environment with no call requirements, Epic EMR, and full travel coverage, just 90 minutes from Cleveland.

Opportunity Details:

  • Location: Erie, PA
  • Contract Type: Locum Tenens – Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
  • Facility Type: 316-Bed Non-Profit Regional Hospital
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • EMR System: Epic
  • Boards Accepted: NBCRNA
Schedule & Shift Info:
  • Five 8-hour shifts per week

  • Day shifts only – No Call Required

  • Minimum shift commitment: TBD (flexible onboarding available)

Case Types & Clinical Details:
  • 19,572 cases annually across 19 OR suites and 1 endo room

  • Specialties include: Ortho, GI, General, OB/GYN, Urology, Vascular, Neuro, Ophthalmology, Thoracic, and Cardiac (152 open heart cases/year)

  • OB and peds experience required

  • Regional blocks not required (performed primarily by physicians)

  • CRNAs do perform spinals and a-lines

  • CRNA Practice Model: Medically Directed (1:2 or 1:3 ratio)

  • Anesthesia team includes: 11 MDs / 32 CRNAs

Candidate Requirements:
  • Active Pennsylvania CRNA license & Unrestricted DEA

  • NBCRNA Certification

  • OB and Peds case experience required

  • Proficiency with Epic preferred

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based environment
