About the Position Temp-to-Perm Urgent Care Advanced Practice Provider

Seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to deliver high-quality, in-home urgent care throughout Northern Virginia.

Providers work as part of a mobile clinical team to perform comprehensive assessments, diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, and manage patient outcomes across all ages. Care is delivered directly in patients’ homes using point-of-care labs, minor procedures, wound care, splinting, suturing, and IV therapies, with a strong focus on care coordination and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-home evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Perform minor procedures and therapeutic interventions
  • Interpret test results and ensure continuity of care
  • Educate patients and families on treatment and health management
  • Collaborate with care teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical standards
Schedule & Compensation
  • Full-time, 4 shifts/week (10-hour shifts), including every other weekend
  • 7–10 patients per shift (1:1 care model)
Qualifications
  • Active NP or PA license in Virginia
  • 2+ years of experience in ER, urgent care, or internal/family medicine
  • Board certification and BLS required (ACLS preferred)
  • DEA/prescriptive authority and valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel locally and perform physical job duties (lifting equipment, stairs)
