This role requires a strong foundation in functional skills and knowledge of relevant aircraft engine technologies. You will work on-site and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes.</p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>Develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing special processes, including mechanical cleaning and welding</p></li><li><p>Conduct metallography evaluations and prepare reports for production and/or new product introduction</p></li><li><p>Create and maintain manufacturing processes, equipment, and process instructions to ensure process control, stability, and conformance</p></li><li><p>Drive improvements that lead to cost reduction, productivity enhancements, and product quality improvements</p></li><li><p>Support repair industrializations aligned with repair readiness levels, including tooling, planning, and equipment</p></li><li><p>Investigate, develop, and apply new technologies to manufacturing processes</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other manufacturing engineers to deliver results and drive innovation</p></li></ul><p></p><p>T<b>Required Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 2 years in manufacturing / process improvement engineering experience (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 6 years of experience in manufacturing)</p></li><li><p>Ability to support off-shifts and weekends as needed</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>Aerospace manufacturing experience</p></li><li><p>Strong material science background</p></li><li><p>Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Additional Information:</b></p><ul><li><p>This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, nationals of the United States, asylees, and refugees) due to access to export-controlled technology.</p></li><li><p>Must pass background and drug screens.</p></li><li><p>Physical requirements may include standing for extended periods and working in a manufacturing environment.</p></li></ul><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Compensation Grade</b></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>PB1<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><i><span style="font-size:12pt">This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
