Market Sales Manager - Remote - Chicago, IL (Chicago, IL)

Market Sales Manager will manage execution, compliance, and growth across assigned customer locations. This role serves as the primary field-facing partner to customers, Operations, Logistics, and internal stakeholders, ensuring best-in-class execution while driving new distribution, display optimization, and revenue growth. TASTE OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Customer Execution & Compliance Conduct regular door audits at customer locations to ensure operational, quality, and merchandising standards are met. Identify execution gaps and communicate issues to Operations and Logistics teams, following through to resolution. Ensure customer locations consistently meet company and brand standards. Issue Resolution & Customer Support Act as the first point of contact for customer delivery, product, and display issues. Partner with General Managers, Operations, and the 3PL Logistics team to build contingency plans and resolve issues quickly and effectively. Proactively address risks to service, sales, and execution. Sales Growth & Expansion Support Support territory expansion by coordinating new customer launches and ensuring 3PL readiness and execution excellence. Execute display optimization initiatives and sell in incremental space, features, and store-level opportunities. Identify and drive upsell opportunities aligned to customer and business objectives. Relationship Management Build strong business relationships with key customer stakeholders, including senior decision makers within national accounts. Serve as a trusted partner to customers, identifying opportunities and selling in relevant solutions. Performance Management & Reporting Leverage reporting tools and dashboards to track key performance metrics, including Sales, APD, SDS %, and Prime Margin %. Monitor territory performance against budget and targets, proactively course-correcting when results are off track. Share insights and recommendations with internal partners to drive continuous improvement. Best Practices & Continuous Improvement Ensure best practices are developed, documented, and consistently implemented at the customer level. Support execution excellence through standardization and process improvement.
