Marketing and Events Coordinator

SUMMARY
The Marketing and Events Coordinator is responsible for supporting the organization’s strategic marketing initiatives and overseeing the planning and implementation of events and conferences of varying scale and purpose. Additionally, this role will provide support to the marketing team through the development of marketing initiatives, execution of email campaigns, analysis of performance metrics, and maintenance of promotional materials.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
EVENT AND CONFERENCE MANAGEMENT

  • Plans, coordinates, and executes all aspects of industry conferences and company hosted events including budget management, venue selection, vendor negotiation, logistics, shipping, and on-site support (as needed), etc.
  • Oversees onboarding and relationship management for marketing vendors.
  • Ensures sales and management teams are equipped with all information and essentials needed to perform their jobs at events.
  • Maintains event calendars internally and on the website, communicates regularly with management on updates.
  • Researches competitor event and conference activity.
  • Develops strategies to maximize brand presence and engagement at all events. Sources and manages promotional materials such as pre- and post-event communications, and social media campaigns.
  • Tracks, measures, and reports on the success of events and marketing campaigns. Provides data-driven insights to inform future strategies and demonstrate ROI.
  • Manages event platform tools to organize and streamline attendee registration, maintains up-to-date event information, and ensures overall system maintenance.
MARKETING SUPPORT
  • Continuously evaluates and refines event and marketing processes to improve efficiency, impact, and scalability.
  • Leverages internal marketing tools to support events and general marketing strategy.
  • Participates in ongoing meetings to provide marketing updates.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
  • Consults with internal teams, including sales, legal, and finance, for new vendors, contracts, and payment execution.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with sponsors, partners, and vendors to enhance event quality and expand outreach.
May perform other duties as required and assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications business administration, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing and event coordination.
  • Experience within the financial services industry.
KNOWLEDGE
  • Marketing tools including Cvent, HubSpot, Canva, and others.
  • Traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.
  • Content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Adobe Acrobat.
