Mechanic - Kuala Selangor (Heavy Machinery)

Advancecon Machinery Sdn Bhd is the equipment and plant management arm of Advancecon Group Bhd, with over 30 years of construction industry experience. It plays a critical role in supporting large-scale infrastructure, earthworks, and civil engineering projects across Malaysia.

The division manages a wide fleet of heavy machinery, including:

  • Excavators
  • Bulldozers
  • Rollers
  • Dump trucks
  • Loaders and support equipment

Key Responsibilities

  • Repair, service, and maintain heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and other earthmoving equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, transmission, and track system issues.
  • Perform engine overhauls, component rebuilding, and parts replacement.
  • Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacement, lubrication, and system checks.
  • Repair undercarriage systems including sprockets, rails, idlers, and track adjusters.
  • Service brake systems, steering clutches, axles, and hydraulic systems.
  • Fabricate or modify parts when necessary using welding and cutting tools.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop cleanliness to ensure safe operations.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by Management.

Job Requirement

  1. Minimum SPM or equivalent. Minimum SPM atau kelayakan setaraf.

  2. Technical or vocational certificate in mechanical field is an advantage. Sijil teknikal atau vokasional dalam bidang mekanikal adalah satu kelebihan.

  3. At least 2 years of experience in vehicle or heavy equipment maintenance and repair. Sekurang-kurangnya 2 tahun pengalaman dalam penyelenggaraan dan pembaikan kenderaan atau jentera berat.

  4. Experience handling heavy machinery (e.g. excavator, bulldozer) is preferred. Pengalaman mengendalikan atau membaiki jentera berat seperti excavator dan bulldozer adalah diutamakan.
