Correlation One is hosting a unique, one-day Army Career Invitational event on February 15, 2025. Sponsored by the Department of Defense, this event is designed to help you uncover your potential and explore career pathways through the US Army as a Combat Medic Specialist.

  • You do not need any prior skills to apply.
  • Joining the Army as a Combat Medic Specialist can provide you free training, on-the-job experience, and other benefits that will enable you to start the career you want in the medical field. Your skills will be highly transferable to civilian roles such as EMT, paramedic, and other medical positions.

  • As a Combat Medic Specialist in the Army, you will learn medical skills like trauma care, emergency response, and patient treatment in high-pressure environments.

  • Provide emergency medical care and trauma management
  • Administer first aid and conducting triage
  • Treat combat-related injuries
  • Perform emergency procedures such as cricothyroidotomy and fluid resuscitation
  • Administer medication (intraosseous, intravenous, and intramuscular)
  • Treat puncture wounds and arterial bleeding
  • Use tourniquets for severe lacerations and amputations
