In this role you can be based at our Fort Collins, CO headquarters, working a hybrid schedule or remote if you are not local.</p> <p> </p> <p>As the Merchandising Specialist, you will partner closely with leaders across Merchandising, Supply Chain, Finance, Insights, Sales, and other cross-functional groups to identify promotional opportunities driving growth and profitability, track marketplace pricing, trends and customer assortments and create customer facing presentations to support the Sales Team. This role will support strategic initiatives within Merchandising to include supporting annual customer sell-in strategies and identifying opportunities and implementing improvements to streamline our pricing systems and processes, creating efficiencies for cross-functional teams.</p> <p> </p> <p>You will be responsible for synthesizing data related to promotions to identify trends, measuring effectiveness, and providing insights that inform future strategies. To learn more, visit www.otterbox.com/en-us/careers.html <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Shape, develop, and evolve long-term and annual strategic promotional planning processes within Merchandising that deliver strong results and are in alignment with Sales goals and company objectives.</li> <li>Partner with Finance and Sales to measure, optimize, & iterate for effective promotions.</li> <li>Support the development and activation of select strategic initiatives within Merchandising, inclusive of supporting the Program Management Team with the sell-in experience, customer meeting preparation, and sample management.</li> <li>Work closely with Supply Chain and Merchandising Managers to understand inventory positions to support promotional planning and drive targeted promotions based on inventory and/or price margin realization (PMR) opportunities.</li> <li>Partner with Sales to ensure customer goals and needs are represented through planning processes, customer presentation preparation, and sample coordination.</li> <li>Evaluate pricing systems and processes to identify and implement continuous improvements with a focus on simplification.</li> <li>Provide strategy recommendations to team members and leadership.</li> <li>Partner with the Insights Team to synthesize marketplace trends, alongside quantitative and qualitative data to drive actionable insights leading to strategies and concepts that will inform the brand, influence product creation, and drive business growth.</li> <li>Monitor and track marketplace trends, pricing, and customer assortments.</li> <li>Partner with Merchandising Leadership to drive internal pricing communications and coordination of price list documentation.</li> <li>Identify opportunities and tactics to drive growth aligned with Otter Products strategic priorities.</li> <li>Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree required.
