Job Title: Murex System Analyst (FO, BO)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Murex System Analyst to support Front Office and Back Office functionalities within the Murex platform. The role involves requirement analysis, system support, and coordination between business and technical teams to ensure efficient trade processing and system performance. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience in Murex FO modules and an understanding of treasury operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze business and system requirements related to Murex FO and BO modules
  • Support configuration and enhancement of Murex Front Office functionalities
  • Collaborate with traders, operations teams, and developers to deliver effective solutions
  • Assist in trade lifecycle support, including trade capture, validation, and processing
  • Perform data analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy of trade and financial data
  • Support system testing, UAT coordination, and defect tracking
  • Provide L2 production support, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and enhancements
  • Ensure adherence to SDLC and change management processes
Required Skills:
  • 3-5 years of experience as a System Analyst in banking or financial services
  • Basic to intermediate experience with Murex platform, especially Front Office (FO) modules
  • Strong SQL skills with experience in SQL Server 2012
  • Understanding of trade lifecycle and financial products
  • Familiarity with Windows Server environments (Windows 2012)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience in production support (L2) and incident management
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Knowledge of Treasury Front Office operations
  • Experience with trade simulation and trade P&L analysis
  • Exposure to Back Office processes such as settlements and confirmations
  • Familiarity with financial instruments (FX, derivatives, fixed income)
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Understanding of risk and valuation concepts within Murex
  • Basic scripting or automation knowledge
