This role is responsible for Sunday highlight operations across NFL Owned and Operated platforms. Additionally, the Game Day Digital Programming Assistant position requires a creative thinker with the editorial expertise gained from a background in journalism. The ideal candidate for this position must have extraordinary knowledge of NFL teams, players and current storylines.<br><br>The ideal candidate for this position must have extraordinary knowledge of NFL teams, players and current storylines.<br><br><strong>Essential Functions<br><br></strong><ul><li>Responsible for watching live NFL games and identifying key moments, milestones and highlights to distribute to NFL platforms.</li><li>Respond to content request coming in from the Programming and Video teams</li><li>Recognize key moments that should be highlighted that may not be included in a specific request</li><li>Proactively communicate with Programming & video teams to ensure we’re capturing the right content</li><li>Publish content identified to our internal platform for both mobile and web</li><li>Responsible for creating titles, captions, applying metadata and programming video content across NFL digital properties<br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Education And Experience<br><br></strong><ul><li>Vast knowledge of NFL teams, personnel and storylines</li><li>Must be available to work every Sunday of the NFL season, some in-season Holidays and some preseason games</li><li>Strong journalism skills (spelling, headline creation, grammar, etc.)</li><li>Elite communication and organization skills</li><li>Ability to multitask (watch live game, write headlines, communicate with programming staff, etc.)</li><li>Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines while working remotely<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Education And Experience<br><br></strong><ul><li>Intermediate experience in digital media workflows (content creation, metadata, content programming)</li><li>Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office</li><li>No video editing experience required<br><br></li></ul><strong>Other Key Attributes / Characteristics<br><br></strong><ul><li>Able to work in a fast-paced game day environment</li><li>Willing to learn quickly and think on their feet</li><li>Ability to learn new programs and web publishing<br><br></li></ul><strong>Expected Hours of Work<br><br></strong><ul><li>Seasonal - may work up to under 30 hours per week (part-time) given business need.</li><li>The NFL maintains a Flexible Workplace Policy that provides members of our workforce with opportunities to periodically work from a location of their choice, while maintaining a priority on in-person work at an NFL office, which enables us to more effectively collaborate, connect and build a workplace culture that will drive our continued success.<br><br></li></ul>Salary<br><br>$20—$20 USD<br><br><strong><em>At the NFL, in-person work at our offices is a top priority because it allows us to collaborate more effectively, build stronger connections, and maintain the culture that drives our success.
