Job Description:

Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional looking for a dynamic part-time role? Ancon Services is seeking a Part-Time Office Administrator to join our team in Ferndale, WA. Office Administrators coordinate and support office operations under the direction of the General Manager. You'll be the key point of contact for both field employees and corporate departments, ensuring smooth office operations and supporting a variety of administrative tasks. Office Administrators that do best are those that love varied work, can multi-task well, and are strong communicators. This position is deep routed in working on daily tasks such as AR, AP, PO entry/Monitoring spend and purchasing.

This position is typically part-time, but hours may increase to 40 hours or more depending on project demands such as turnarounds, tank projects, and other operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support daily office operations under the direction of the General Manager
  • Communicate effectively with field employees and corporate departments including HR, payroll, and accounting
  • Manage accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP)
  • Enter and monitor purchase orders (POs) and track spending
  • Provide general administrative support and assist with vendor and customer interactions
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with documentation for projects and compliance

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and vendors
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
