Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Part Time Servers and Hosts to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent guest relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop your hospitality skills within a casual dining setting, ensuring guests enjoy their meals and visits.

Prior experience with POS systems is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.

The Part Time Servers will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction from start to finish.

The Part Time Hosts will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, taking orders through telephone or in person. Accurately inputing online or thirdparty orders through POS system.

Responsibilities of Part Time Server

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
  • Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems and cashiering tools
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
  • Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
  • Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
  • Follow all sanitation, safety, and food handling protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Responsibility of Part Time Hosts
  • Greet and welcome guests warmly
  • Take/input phone and in person orders accurately on POS system
  • Take/input online and third party orders accurately on POS system
  • Assist in light bussing and setup of dine in tables
  • Handling card processing and cash transactions accurately
  • Keeping hostess station clean and presentable
Experience
  • Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable, especially in casual dining atmosphere
  • Familiarity with POS systems is preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
  • Background in hospitality roles such as host/host or server within the food industry is advantageous
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and bill splitting are essential
  • Minimum 3 years casual dining experience required
  • Experience In AsIan cuisines preferred
  • Required to work on weekends and holidays, open availability preferred
